Each year the American Ambulance Association awards a member of Congress with the American Ambulance Association Legislative Award. This award goes to the Congressperson who displays support and concern for issues that are of importance to ambulance service providers. This years’ recipient is Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn. The American Ambulance Association would like to express its thanks to Congresswoman Blackburn for the support she has given over the last and the continued support in the future.
The American Ambulance Association asked that the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association (TASA) to present this award to Congresswoman Blackburn. The award was presented on August 20, 2014 at Camden General Hospital. TASA representative Joyce Noles presented the award.
