TECC course / Active School Shooter Exercise

Putnam County will be hosting a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care course / Active Shooter Exercise September 7 – 8, 2016 at the Putnam County EMS Main Station (700 County Services Dr. Cookeville, TN 38501) from 8am – 6pm.

Upon completion you will receive an NAEMT TECC certificate. Other organizations advertise seats for $300 – $500, plus APOPUS members save 20% when they apply their discount cost for a total cost for members of $228.00. This TECC course is endorsed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, presented by the Association of Police Officer Paramedics of the United States and hosted by Putnam County EMS. You can add an Individual First Aid Kit and third day of Simunitions Reality Based Training (police only). We will go through officer down scenarios ranging from traffic stop-combat-officer down, through the application of first aid in situations unique to law enforcement officers.
