AmeriGroup is requesting overpayment refunds from providers across TN. These overpayments go back over the past 5 years and are based on overpayments where AmeriGroup did not apply the TnCare cuts for each year to their fee schedule. If you have received one of these requests, you are encouraged to review with your legal and/or financial officer before submitting any refunds. In addition, we encourage you to discuss this issue with your state legislator (find your legislator’s contact info here).
