Annual Service Revenue Report: All Tennessee ground ambulance providers must submit an annual revenue report to TennCare by October 31, 2020. This report is required by TennCare and the Comptroller’s office to comply with CMS rules for the Ground Ambulance Assessment Act (Enhanced Medicaid Reimbursement Program). Within the spreadsheet are instructions on the first tab and data entry fields on the second tab.
You MUST type your name in the “signature” line and enter the date on the “Revenue Report” tab before submitting the whole spreadsheet as an attachment to TennCare at TennCare.Assessments@tn.gov
TennCare will be sending out reminders for Ground Ambulance Service Providers to complete this report.
TennCare Reimbursement Update: On Wednesday September 16 we received word from TennCare that funding has been secured within the current budget to include dates of service back to April 3, 2020 for retroactive payments within the new TennCare reimbursement requirement of 67.5% minimum of the Medicare Fee Schedule.
However, before TennCare can begin issuing current and retroactive payments, CMS must approve the submitted waiver. Current best estimate on the approval timeline is the fall of 2020.
